Originally established in 2008, the CREDA New York City Metro Chapter has been a trusted voice for the region's commercial real estate industry for nearly two decades. In 2025, the New York City Chapter merged with the Connecticut & NY Suburban Chapter to create the New York City Metro Chapter, expanding its reach across New York City's five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess County, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Our mission is to advance the interests of the commercial real estate industry throughout the New York City metropolitan region by championing effective public policy, delivering timely and relevant educational programming, providing market-leading research and insights, and creating meaningful opportunities for business development and professional networking.
The chapter is also committed to cultivating the next generation of industry leaders through its Developing Leaders program, which provides professionals age 35 and under with mentorship, education, networking, and leadership opportunities designed to accelerate career growth and foster long-term engagement within the commercial real estate community.
